I'm a native English tutor from the Midwest, and I currently live in the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro, where I navigate my daily life in Brazilian Portuguese, my second language. So when my students tell me they feel nervous, stuck, or frustrated, I get it. I've been there and I'm living through it too.
I've been teaching English for over 1,000 hours, working with adults from more than 20 countries across all levels. My students have gone on to interview at companies like Meta and DoorDash, deliver presentations at work, and move confidently to English-speaking countries. Many improve their speaking confidence within just a few weeks of consistent practice.
